After Hours Plumbing Perth WordPress Website Customization & SEO

After Hours Plumbing Perth is a WordPress project built on an existing custom PHP theme for a Perth-based plumbing business. My role was focused on completing the website, improving its structure and presentation, implementing SEO-focused content and preparing the entire site for a professional launch. The project involved extensive WordPress customization rather than rebuilding the website from scratch, making it a strong example of my WordPress development work for service-based businesses.

I customized page layouts, refined content placement, improved menu and navigation structure and ensured important service information and calls to action were presented clearly. The website contains a large number of plumbing services and Perth location pages, so maintaining a consistent structure across the site was important for both visitors and future expansion.

A significant part of the project involved on-page SEO. I worked on SEO-optimized content for service and location pages, heading structure, internal linking, page organization and other on-page elements to create a stronger foundation for organic search visibility. Content was written and refined around relevant plumbing searches while keeping it useful and easy for customers to understand.

I also created and integrated custom visual assets for the website, including service-related imagery and branded visuals that matched the After Hours Plumbing Perth design. These assets helped create a more consistent look across service pages, location content and conversion-focused areas of the site.

The final stage involved complete launch preparation and technical checks. I reviewed desktop and mobile presentation, navigation, links, booking areas and key conversion paths before the website went live. I also handled XML sitemap submission, Google Site Kit installation and configuration, Search Console preparation and other essential SEO and tracking setup.

The completed project resulted in a customized, responsive and SEO-ready WordPress website with structured service and location content, improved navigation, consistent visual assets and the technical foundations required for continued growth.
